Meet Mary Njoki
4 years old. Mother is unable to care for Mary as she is very sick with AIDS, father is deceased after battling AIDS for many years. Mary was brought to BOC by a good samaritan. Cheeky is the first word that comes to mind when describing Mary Njoki. Mary loves to play with the volunteers that come to B.O.C, although she is often very shy at first. Njoki isn't one to immediately trust each person that she meets, so once you are able to break through to her it feels like quite an achievement.
